KIRIN 985 5G SPECIFICATIONS

Huawei has completed its releasing schedule for March 2020. The company also revealed its flagship series naming P40, P40pro and P40pro Plus in the mid of this month. Now, Huawei is expected to start April by releasing of Huawei Nova 7 series. We're expecting the phones to be as Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro with 5G connectivity and Nova 7 SE with Kirin 820 5G. This new lineup will also debut a new Huawei's SoC dubbed Kirin 985.


A report states that the Huawei Nova 7 will appear with new Kirin 985 SoC chipset which comes with an integrated 5G modem. This chipset will come along with the Balong 5000 modem for seamless 5G connectivity moreover it boasts 7nm+ EUV lithography process.

KIRIN 820 5G SPECIFICATIONS

Huawei plans to equip its mid-range devices with 5G connectivity. It's a small upgrade over the last year's Kirin 810 with a newer GPU. The new platform uses a 7nm process and features 4x ARM Cortex-A76 BIG cores and 4x ARM Cortex-A55 little cores. The new chipset has a single A76 core clocked at 2.36GHz, while the other three are clocked at 2.22GHz. The company promises, at least, 27% more power efficiency in this new chip than its predecessors.

Huawei also implemented GPU Turbo and Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 technology on this chipset to get more improved gaming performance.

The Kirin 820 includes ISP 5.0 and BM3D SLR, which provides a significantly improved noise reduction in pictures. Also, there's a technology ensuring video dual-domain noise reduction. The new chip also ensures 4K video capture at 60FPS.
